The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mason closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lukko looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Still in half guard, Mason seems content to control.

Lukko is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mason pulls his head out easily.

Lukko gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mason to score an easy takedown into full guard.
