Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Orange Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Silva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Orange Joe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Silva!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well.
Joe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silva moves away.
Joe throws a jab when Silva was well out of range.
Joe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Silva dodges the punch combination from Joe.
Joe comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Joe fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Nice defenses there by Joe.
Joe listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
It looks like Joe Silva has been cut.
Silva moves in looking to clinch but Joe pushes him off.
Silva's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Joe connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Silva scrambles back to his feet.

Joe drives through with a takedown into Silva's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Joe wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.

Joe controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Silva tries to clinch but Joe moves out of range.

Silva keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Joe connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd cheers as Joe lands an impressive looking overhand right. Silva doesn't seem phased though.
Joe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Silva throws out the jab.
Joe throws a lazy right hand but Silva sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Silva tried to score with a low kick but Joe checks it.
Silva blocks a jab.
Silva moves away from the strike by Joe.
Silva is looking to clinch but Joe is avoiding it.
Joe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Silva.
Silva just misses with a punch to the body.
Joe dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Silva motions for Joe to come forward. Silva throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Silva is looking to clinch but Joe is avoiding it.

Joe throws a nice outside leg kick.
Nice jab there from Silva.
Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Joe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Joe pinned against the cage. Joe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Silva takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Joe shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Joe showed some decent athleticism there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Orange Joe dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Joe Silva's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Silva moves out of range of the strikes.
Silva feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Joes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Silva slips a jab from Joe.
Silva misses the shot to the body.
Silva is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Joe.
Joe moves into range and connects with a jab.
Joe thows a body shot but no joy.
Silva takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Joe's waist but Joe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.

Joe throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Joe counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Silva!
Silva tries to buck Joe off but Joe is having none of it.
Joe thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Silva has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva is looking for a sweep.
Silva is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Joe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Joe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Silva avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Joe.
You can see the frustration on Silva's face as Joe controls the position.
Joe in side control lands a decent elbow.
Joe throws a strike aimed at the side of Silva's head but Silva avoids it well.
Joe creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Silva sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Silva is not content to let Joe control the position.
