Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marc Callahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Goronov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marc Callahan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Goronov!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Callahan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Callahan showed some decent athleticism there.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Callahan prevents Goronov from improving his position.
Goronov gets full guard.
Callahan postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goronov pulls Callahan in to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Marc Callahan just wasn't active enough.
Callahan has managed to clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Callahan.
Callahan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sloppy strikes from Goronov. Those never looked like landing.
Callahan manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Goronov on his heels. He'll look to pass Goronov's guard now, I'm sure.
Callahan is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Goronov has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Callahan is looking to defend but Goronov has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Callahan! Goronov pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Callahan taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ivan Goronov!
