Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Blur Legend!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

England pushes Legend up against the cage in a clinch.

England jumps into guard, dragging Legend to the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Legend drops back, looking for a kneebar! England looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. England looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from England!
Legend struggling a bit here.
England looks up at the clock and then as Legend takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, England smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Legend is trying to control England's posture but England avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
England is looking to take a break and control but Legend is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Legend pushes England away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, England gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
England wants to control but Legend is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
England taking a breather here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Legend wants to control but England postures up.
England controls the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Legend enables England to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Legend manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
England sitting in guard here, content to control.
Legend is trying to keep England in close.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

England drives through with a takedown into Legend's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
