PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clarence Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Full Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Norris moves into the clinch.
Norris working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Norris is pushing Malone up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Norris gets control of Malone's arms and successfully pulls guard. Norris will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Malone could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Malone with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Malone's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Malone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Malone throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Malone wants to control from the top but Norris keeps moving.

Norris throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Malone escapes and throws Norris's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Malone cracks Norris with an elbow. That is naaassty.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Malone wants to lay and pray for a moment but Norris keeps working.
Sloppy strikes there by Malone.
Malone is chipping away with strikes.
Norris can't do much from the bottom here.
Norris parries the strikes from Malone easily there. Malone is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Norris to escape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Norris wants to control but Malone postures up.
Norris tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Malone presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Malone scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Norris?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Malone fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The referee warns Norris that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Norris is rocked!
Malone looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Norris covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
