And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mikey Havoc!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Havoc throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nice sprawl there from Havoc as Benedict shoots in.
Havoc connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.


It looks like Joe Benedict has been cut.
Havoc lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Havoc.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Benedict wants to control but Havoc postures up.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Havoc drives through and clinches with Benedict against the cage.
Benedict tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Benedict is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Havoc gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Benedict jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Havoc walks away with a smile on his face. Benedict gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Benedict. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Havoc counters with a straight that turns Benedict's legs to rubber! Havoc pushes forward with more strikes and Benedict goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!

During a confident post fight interview, Mikey Havoc thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
