Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Laston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laston's entrance music is The Nortorious Big feature Bone Thug N Harmony-Notorious Thugs. A fine choice. Rose has chosen Above Envy - World Goes Wild as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Josh Laston has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing good reports from Laston's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Laston wants to get up but he can't break Rose's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Rose bucks up and tries to throw Laston off but instead Laston has got his back!
Laston controlling the position well here. Rose rolled but Laston kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Laston gets back to his feet. Rose is certainly not going to complain about that decision.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Laston decides to stand back up. Laston steps back and let's Rose get back to his feet.
Rose is trying desperately to land a takedown but Laston is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Rose.

Rose working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Laston doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Laston manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Rose looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Laston has picked Rose up and slammed him! Rose can't keep hold of the triangle and Laston manages to pass to side control!

Rose is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Laston moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

A very excited looking Josh Laston rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
