Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karri Koira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Bearer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koira closes the distance and clinches.

Koira has closed the distance and engaged Bearer in a clinch.
Koira lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bearer backwards.

Koira drops Bearer onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Bearer is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

That has opened up Paul Bearer's cut even more.

Bearer tries to stall but Koira uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Koira has Bearer pressed against the cage.

Bearer is trying desperately to land a takedown but Koira is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Bearer.

Koira rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bearer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Koira lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bearer's sensitive parts.
Koira digs a good body shot into Bearer's ribs.
Bearer seems to have recovered his senses.
Bearer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Koira sprawls well. Koira wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bearer gets slowly back to his feet.

Koira is looking to slow Bearer down with leg kicks.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bearer moves in looking to clinch but Koira pushes him off.

Koira throws out a leg kick but Bearer moves out of range and Koira only half commits.
Koira stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Koira wants it to stay on the feet.

Bearer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Koira feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bearers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Koira wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Karri Koira is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Koira looks to land a combination but Bearer avoids it well.
Bearer fails in his attempt to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bearer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Koira drops Bearer with a beautiful combination! Bearer stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Koira is looking for the KO!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bearer tries to bum rush Koira with a series of wild strikes but Koira uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bearer is breathing heavily.
Koira drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Bearer right on the button. Bearer goes down! Koira follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Koira gets the win via TKO!
