Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vlad The Impaler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ten Sixteen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Impaler's entrance music is What does the Fox Say. A fine choice. Vlad The Impaler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sixteen looks to score with a jab to the body but The Impaler is just out of range.
Sixteen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Sixteen misses with a takedown attempt
and The Impaler counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The Impaler misses with a kick to the body.
Sixteen throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Sixteen lands with a thumping leg kick.
The Impaler throws a looping overhand right but Sixteen ducks down to avoid it.
The Impaler throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Sixteen shoots in looking for a takedown but The Impaler manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sixteen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Sixteen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

The Impaler manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Sixteen keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

The Impaler drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sixteen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now The Impaler has Sixteen in his guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sixteen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and The Impaler has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from The Impaler and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The Impaler takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The Impaler is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sixteen has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sixteen!
