Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Mychael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Choco Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mychael comes into the arena with HOLD STRONG by Rob Bailey & The Hustle Standard blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Anthony Mychael!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Choco Bang!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang moves out of range of the body kick from Mychael.
Mychael tries to clinch there but Bang circles away.
Mychael throws a leg kick
and Bang counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bang.
Bang wants to control from the top but Mychael keeps moving.
Bang controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Bang pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mychael is keeping the position for now.
Mychael has his foot on Bang's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bang works his way back into a safe position though.
Bang trying to control the position from guard on top but Mychael is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Mychael trying to keep a closed guard but Bang is proving a slippery customer.
Mychael is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Mychael wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Bang seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Bang stands and throws Mychael's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Bang trying to control the position but Mychael is working away.
Mychael is trying to escape the position but Bang is controlling the position.
Bang tries for a kimura but Mychael is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mychael wants to get back to his feet but Bang drags him back down.
We've been informed that Bang has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Mychael tries to improve position but can't.
Bang wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mychael keeps working.
Mychael tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Mychael is trying to control Bang's posture but Bang avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bang is trying to get an arm triangle but Mychael is defending well.
Bang stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Bang changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mychael tries to avoid it but Bang manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mychael to the ground. Mychael escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mychael tries to clinch up but Bang circles away and keeps his distance.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bang closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mychael's guard.
Mychael is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bang is controlling him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bang has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mychael to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Bang is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mychael pulls down on the head and he's put Bang to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Anthony Mychael!
A less than humble Anthony Mychael misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
