The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myles tries to bum rush Penn with a series of wild strikes but Penn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've been hearing reports that Myles has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Myles misses with a jab, cross combination.
Penn looks for a takedown but Myles sprawls well.
Penn shoots in but no luck this time.
Myles misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Myles cracks Penn with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Penn tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Myles swivels and escapes.
Darren Myles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reagen Penn.
Myles cracks Penn with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Myles has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Penn to stand back up!

It looks like Reagen Penn has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Myles fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Penn is still on wobbly legs! Can Myles finish him?
Myles shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Penn takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Myles sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Penn bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

In his post fight interview, Darren Myles started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
