Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lars Hagen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milan Lucic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucic has chosen Shots as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lucic fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hagen manages to avoid it.

and Hagen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Lucic throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hagen was covering up waiting for the punch and Lucic finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Lucic distracts Hagen with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Hagen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lucic can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lucic is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hagen is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at The Boom Boom Room that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Hagen is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Lucic is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hagen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Lucic takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lucic lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hagen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hagen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lars Hagen will probably get the nod.

Lucic scores with a one two! Hagen had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Hagen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lucic stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Hagen pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lucic back to the cage. Hagen follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lars Hagen.
