Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jock Sleed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shilong Shen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sleed comes to the cage accompanied by I'm An Individual. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shen misses with a takedown
and Sleed counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Shilong Shen has been cut.
Sleed slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Shen dives in for a single leg takedown but Sleed sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Sleed throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Shen throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sleed escapes and throws Shen's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sleed gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Shen shoots in looking for a takedown. Sleed tries to sprawl out of it but Shen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sleed manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sleed throws a hook to the side of Shen's head but Shen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Shen is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Sleed still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Sleed has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Jock Sleed decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
