Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zuess Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Crown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zuess Halo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Crown!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Crown can pounce on him.
Crown tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Halo thows a leg kick but Crown checks it
and Crown counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Crown is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Halo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Araba Fenice in the buildup to the fight.
Halo scores with a sloppy right hand. Crown should have avoided that one.

Crown gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Halo tries to score a body lock takedown but Crown shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Halo manages to pull guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Crown passes Halo's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Crown is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Halo tries to get to full guard but Crown has control of the leg.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Crown seems to be looking for submissions.

Crown is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Crown looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Halo looks like he's trying to stand up.

Crown is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Halo defends it well.
Halo is looking to get back to full guard here but Crown has managed to pass to side control instead.

Halo tries to buck Crown off but Crown is having none of it.
Crown wants to lay and pray for a moment but Halo keeps working.

Crown connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Halo some visible discomfort.

Crown thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Halo is looking for a sweep.

Crown wants to control but Halo is keeping him busy.
Halo is trying to escape the position but Crown is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crown tries for a kimura but Halo is defending well.
Halo is looking to regain half guard here but Crown keeps moving and retains side control.
Halo is working hard here to advance position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Crown thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Crown in side control, throwing shots but Halo defends.

Halo works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Halo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Halo lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Halo misses with a head kick.
Halo keeps the fight on the outside.
Crown avoids the body shot from Halo.
A looping hook to the body misses from Halo. Crown does a little dance to reset his feet.

Crown has Halo up against the cage in a clinch.
Halo tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Crown throws an elbow that misses.
Crown trying to land knees to the body.
Halo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Crown smiles and moves away.
Crown throws a quick inside leg kick.

Halo throws a hook but Crown avoids it easily.
Crown shoots for a double leg takedown but Halo sprawls well. He's pushed Crown's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Crown throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Halo throws a body punch but Crown moves out of range.
Crown fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Crown is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Halo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Crown throws a head kick that misses
and Halo counters with a left to the body.
Crown avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Halo takes a swing at Crown's ribcage but misses.
Halo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Crown was well out of range. Poor timing from Halo.

Crown fails in his attempt to clinch.
Halo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Halo throws out a loose jab but Crown uses good head movement to avoid it.
Crown blocks a leg kick.
Crown on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Crown tries to close the distance and clinch up but Halo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crown moves out of range of the body kick from Halo.
Zuess Halo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Halo misses with an uppercut. Crown saw that one coming.
Crown tries a head kick but it misses.
Halo misses with an attempted mid kick.
Crown tries to clinch there but Halo circles away.
Crown shoots and misses
and Halo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Zuess Halo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Crown.
Halo looks to land a combination but Crown avoids it well.

Halo clinches with his opponent.
Crown blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Halo has had enough of the clinch but Crown keeps him there for the moment.
Halo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Crown lands a good knee to the midsection. Halo won't want to take too many of those.
Crown tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Crown throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Halo blocks it with crossed arms.
Crown unloads a knee to the mid-section. Halo lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Crown misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Halo.

Crown tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Halo avoids it.

Halo manages to break the clinch.
Halo checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Crown throws a sloppy head kick and Halo moves out of range easily.
Halo connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Crown misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Halo throws a good cross that connects.
Crown keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Crown swings for the body but Halo moves out of range.

Paul Crown is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Halo throws a leg kick
and Crown counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Zuess Halo will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Crown counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Halo is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Halo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Halo scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Halo tries to sprawl but Crown drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Halo wants to get back to full guard but Crown has passed into side control.
Halo tries to bench press Crown off him but Crown keeps the position.

Halo looks to move to half guard but instead Crown has passed into mount! Damn!
Halo is bucking up trying to escape but Crown cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Halo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Halo tries to get out of the position.

Halo manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Halo is not content to let Crown control the position.
Halo is trying to maintain the position but Crown is very close to passing his half guard.
Crown throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Halo to regain full guard.

Halo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Crown defends well.
Halo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Crown looking for submissions off his back.
Paul Crown has got the better of the ground game so far.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Halo wants to take a breather but Crown is having none of it.
Halo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Crown is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Crown moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Crown has a closed guard, preventing Halo from standing up.
Crown looking to hit a scissor sweep but Halo is one step ahead there.
Halo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Crown on the ground.
Halo is stalling in the full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Halo wants to get up but he can't break Crown's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Paul Crown.
I think Crown has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
