Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randy Slader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slader comes to the cage accompanied by Pantera - Walk. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Randy Slader!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 27 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Vitor Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slader looks to land a left hand but Gracie moved out of range nicely.
Gracie takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Slader defends it nicely.
Gracie's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Slader connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gracie scrambles back to his feet.


It looks like Vitor Gracie has been cut.
Slader throws a sloppy body shot
and Gracie makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Gracie on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Slader throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gracie shoots in for a double leg but Slader sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Slader swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Slader circles away.
Randy Slader has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vitor Gracie.
Gracie moves away from the strike by Slader.
Gracie moves out of range of the body kick from Slader.

Slader will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Gracie showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Slader.
Slader throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Slader takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gracie.
Gracie checks a leg kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Slader.
Slader lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gracie at a distance.
Gracie throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Slader circles away from the clinch attempt
and Slader counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Slader lands a glancing blow to the side of Gracie's head.
Randy Slader is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gracie shoots in but no luck this time.
Nice uppercut there from Slader.
Slader looks to score with a jab to the body but Gracie is just out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Slader throws a leg kick but Gracie moved away.
Gracie has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Good work by Gracie as he checks the leg kick.
Slader slaps away a takedown attempt from Gracie, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gracie moves away from the strike by Slader.
Slader misses with a kick to the body.
Slader keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Slader looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Randy Slader seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slader misses with a double jab.
Gracie takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Slader tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Slader.
Gracie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sloppy strikes from Slader. Those never looked like landing.
Gracie tries to clinch but Slader is having none of it.
Gracie blocks a head kick by Slader.
Slader looks to land a left hand but Gracie moved out of range nicely.
Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown. Slader tries to sprawl out of it but Gracie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slader manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gracie takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Gracie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gracie fails with the takedown.
Slader throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Slader clobbers Gracie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Slader throws a leg kick but Gracie sees it coming and moves out of range.
Gracie shoots in but no luck this time.
Slader's jab looks to have found its range, popping Gracie under the eye.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Vitor Gracie's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Slader slaps away a takedown attempt from Gracie, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gracie fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gracie is trying desperately to land a takedown but Slader is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Gracie.

Slader looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A telegraphed right hand from Slader misses the target.
Gracie tries to clinch there but Slader circles away.
Slader looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Gracie takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Randy Slader is winning the standup battle so far.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gracie looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gracie takes a jab right on the kisser.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Slader - that will leave a mark!
Gracie defending well as Slader loads up on a big left hand.
Slader misses with a looping left.
Gracie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A telegraphed right hand from Slader misses the target.
Gracie takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Decent striking displayed by Slader there.
A solid leg kick lands there for Slader.
Slader tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Slader moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Slader looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Slader goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Slader stuffs the takedown.
Randy Slader has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vitor Gracie.

Gracie rushes Slader and presses him up against the cage.
Slader works on Gracie's body with a couple of short punches.
Gracie's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Gracie is trying to pull guard but Slader turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Gracie drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Slader gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Slader throws a head punch that misses.
Slader misses with a body punch.

Gracie breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch but Slader swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Slader fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gracie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Slader misses with a straight left.
Slader just misses with a punch to the body.
Slader throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gracie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Slader.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gracie takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Slader tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Slader to the ground. Slader escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gracie shoots in but no luck this time.
Gracie takes one on the button.
Gracie on the wrong end of a nice hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gracie ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Gracie wants to clinch
and Slader counters with a slapping leg kick.
and Slader counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Gracie! He's just covering up as Slader starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randy Slader!
A less than humble Randy Slader misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
