Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Kytta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Piras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kytta comes into the arena with The Odorants - This Night blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Kytta. Piras does a little dance to reset his feet.
Piras misses with an uppercut
and Kytta connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kytta takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Piras misses with a straight right.
Piras throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kytta.
A left lands for Piras.

It looks like Mikko Kytta has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fighters circling - Piras throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kytta feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Piras's calf.
Piras takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kytta moves away from the strike by Piras.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kytta. Piras does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kytta takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Piras rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kytta counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Piras thinking.
Piras fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Piras misses with a left hand
and Kytta counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Roberto Piras has been cut.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kytta, right into the meat.
Kytta slips under a jab from Piras.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Piras uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kytta.
Kytta is looking to land body kicks.
A jab from Piras does it's job there.
Piras takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Kytta lands a big head kick that sends Piras tumbling to the mat! Kytta takes a step backwards and waves Piras back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Piras walks straight into a right hand from Kytta - that's dropped him! Kytta jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Piras from any more punishment! Piras complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
