Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rex Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jones Boob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boob throws a sloppy head kick and Lynch moves out of range easily.
Boob looks for a takedown but Lynch sprawls well.

Lynch moves into range and clinches up with Boob.
Lynch wants a takedown.

Lynch manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Boob tries to free his leg and advance position but Lynch is retaining full guard.

Lynch scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Boob fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Boob gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lynch to score an easy takedown into full guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Boob can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lynch is in close to Boob's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Boob wants to sweep but no luck.

Lynch really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Rex Lynch just wasn't active enough.

Boob gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Rex Lynch has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

A frustrated look appears on Lynch's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Lynch tightens his grip and picks Boob up, before dumping him to the ground. Boob manages to land in guard.

Boob looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lynch passes Boob's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Lynch tries to clinch up.
Boob throws a front kick that sends Lynch stumbling back into the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Boob feints and as Lynch raises his hands in defense, Boob changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lynch will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Boob gets to his feet. Lynch looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Boob shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lynch sprawls well. Lynch wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boob gets slowly back to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Boob counters with a solid body kick.
Lynch closes the distance and clinches up with Boob, looking for a takedown. Lynch pushes Boob against the cage but Boob circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Lynch tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Boob defends well and Lynch ends up having to push Boob into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Lynch has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Boob is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Jones Boob showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lynch enables Boob to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lynch manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
