Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Noam Chomsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akihito Tatsuhiko Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chomsky's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, System Of A Down BYOB. Tatsuhiko Jr has chosen EYE OF THE TIGER as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Noam Chomsky!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Akihito Tatsuhiko Jr!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Tatsuhiko Jr misses.
Chomsky has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Tatsuhiko Jr closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chomsky circles away.
Chomsky moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Tatsuhiko Jr throws a hook to the side of Chomsky's head but Chomsky sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

It looks like Akihito Tatsuhiko Jr has been cut.
Chomsky leaves Tatsuhiko Jr with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Noam Chomsky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akihito Tatsuhiko Jr.
Tatsuhiko Jr lands with a kick to the temple. Chomsky shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Tatsuhiko Jr shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Chomsky manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chomsky looking to break Tatsuhiko Jr's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Tatsuhiko Jr remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Chomsky will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

and Chomsky counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tatsuhiko Jr closes the distance and clinches up with Chomsky, looking for a takedown. Tatsuhiko Jr pushes Chomsky against the cage but Chomsky circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chomsky lands a big elbow - Tatsuhiko Jr is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Chomsky!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Noam Chomsky!

A very excited looking Noam Chomsky rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
The defeated Akihito Tatsuhiko Jr had this to say: 'The better man won tonight. Thanks to everyone who believes in me and the FANS!'.
