Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Azhiev checks a leg kick.
Akterhall lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Azhiev is defended easily by Akterhall.
Azhiev dives in and grabs Akterhall's left leg, looking for a takedown. Akterhall pushes down on Azhiev's head and hops out.
Anzhor Azhiev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Akterhall throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Akterhall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Akterhall fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Akterhall attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Azhiev dives in and grabs Akterhall's left leg, looking for a takedown. Akterhall pushes down on Azhiev's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anzhor Azhiev. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Azhiev fails with a takedown attempt.
Akterhall lands with a nice body kick.
Akterhall connects with a leg kick. Azhiev looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A thudding body kick lands there by Akterhall!
Akterhall works over Azhiev's head and body with a nice combination.
Azhiev misses with a takedown attempt
and Akterhall counters with a nice low kick that buckles Azhiev's knee momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Azhiev gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Azhiev avoids a punch combination nicely.
Akterhall pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Azhiev back to the cage. Akterhall follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Akterhall lands with a kick to the ribs.
Joakim Akterhall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Akterhall fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Azhiev.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Azhiev. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Akterhall throws a right and a left that both miss.
Akterhall throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Azhiev's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
An inside leg kick lands from Akterhall.
Akterhall dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Azhiev. That did some damage!
Akterhall throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Azhiev.
Akterhall connects with a body shot that sends Azhiev's belly button to the back.
Azhiev closes this distance looking for a takedown but Akterhall circles away.
Azhiev is breathing heavily.
Azhiev shoots in for a takedown but Akterhall shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Akterhall lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Akterhall misses with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Akterhall lands a really nice looking cross but Azhiev seems unphased.
Akterhall lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Azhiev is rocked!
Akterhall plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Oh Azhiev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Akterhall has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
A nice leg kick lands there from Akterhall.
Azhiev takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Azhiev misses with a takedown attempt
and Akterhall counters with a good low kick that Azhiev was not able to check.
Akterhall lands a hook that stumbles Azhiev back into the cage. Akterhall follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Azhiev to the canvas! Akterhall pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Azhiev has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
