Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tiago Jorge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jorge might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tropa de Elite. Michaels has chosen Gimme Shelter as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jorge uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Michaels.
Jorge has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Pit in the buildup to the fight.
Jorge shoots in but no luck this time.
Jorge moves in looking to clinch but Michaels pushes him off.
Jorge keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Michaels jabs Jorge right on the nose. Jorge blinks but takes it well.
An inside leg kick lands from Michaels.
Jorge has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Michaels.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Michaels throws a hook but Jorge blocks it.

Michaels drops Jorge with a beautiful combination! Jorge stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Michaels is looking for the KO!

Michaels cracks Jorge with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Jorge tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Michaels pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Jorge is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Karl Michaels gave a mention to Alpha-Male Nutritional Supplements (q160) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
