Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Mandella!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Bilkington!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bilkington tries to close the distance and clinch but Mandella swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mandella's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bilkington under the eye.
Bilkington throws a nice looking combination but Mandella bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bilkington throws a jab but it's blocked by Mandella.
Mandella looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A chopping leg kick lands by Bilkington.
Bilkington will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mandella fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mandella looks to land a combination but Bilkington avoids it well.
Bobby Bilkington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bilkington feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bilkington tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mandella paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Mandella counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bilkington lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mandella has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mandella and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Mandella gets tackled into the cage by Bilkington. Bilkington maintains the clinch.

Mandella's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bilkington tries to land a front kick but Mandella steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bilkington has a takedown stuffed.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mandella connects with a crisp jab.
Bilkington is still on wobbly legs! Can Mandella finish him?
Mandella gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Bilkington throws a push kick but Mandella slaps the foot to one side.
Bilkington seems to have recovered his senses.

Mandella will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Mandella feints a jab promting Bilkington to slip. Mandella then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bilkington slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Mandella throws a series of punches but Bilkington moves out of range.
Mandella throws a right and a left that Bilkington avoids nicely.
Bilkington misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Chuck Mandella has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Bilkington.
Bilkington wants to clinch.
Bilkington tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mandella swivels and escapes.

letting Mandella counter with a right hand.

Bilkington shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mandella but Mandella pushes him off and we're back to square one.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bilkington goes for a double leg but Mandella avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mandella continues to drive forward.
Bilkington keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Mandella's efforts to push away.
Bilkington is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mandella is defending well for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Bobby Bilkington will probably get the nod.

Bilkington shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mandella pinned against the cage. Mandella gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Nice combo by Mandella! Oh, that's hurt him - Bilkington falls to the canvas and Mandella follows him into side control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mandella decides to stand back up. Mandella steps back and let's Bilkington get back to his feet.
Mandella cracks Bilkington with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Bilkington falls to his knees and Mandella doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chuck Mandella!
Bobby Bilkington was interviewed post fight and said 'You Can't win them all, the better man won tonight. Next fight i'm gonna come out twice as hungry'.
