Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Ashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jermain Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jermain Chambers!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chambers throws a low kick but Ashley avoids it.
Chambers attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Jermain Chambers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chambers drives through with a takedown into Ashley's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Chambers trying to control but Ashley is working from the bottom.
Ashley is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Chambers throws a big elbow that misses.
Ashley is trying to keep Chambers in close.
Chambers seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Chambers shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Chambers showed some decent athleticism there.
Ashley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Ashley is looking to control Chambers's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ashley avoid being mounted?
Chambers seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ashley does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Ashley is trying to maintain the position but Chambers is very close to passing his half guard.
Chambers thows a huge punch but Ashley dodges it nicely.
Ashley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chambers is working away from the top position though.
Ashley really is a fat lump.

Chambers content to control rather than advance.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Chambers looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Ashley wants to sweep here but Chambers controlling him for the moment.
Chambers in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Chambers content to stall in guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Chambers wants to pass the guard but Ashley is keeping the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jermain Chambers hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Chambers rushes Ashley and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Chambers turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Chambers decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Chambers throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ashley tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Chambers is in Ashley's guard.
Ashley is trying to keep Chambers in close.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chambers wants to pass the guard but Ashley is keeping the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ashley can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Chambers controls the pace.
Let's hope that Chambers has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

A head kick misses from Chambers.

Chambers clinches up with Ashley and pushes him back against the cage.
Chambers lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Ashley or not.

Chambers decides to pull guard.
Ashley looking to sit in guard and control but Chambers gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jermain Chambers has got the better of the ground game so far.

Chambers stands up from Ashley's guard - Chambers perhaps looking for a knockout.

Oooooh!!! Chambers has knocked Ashley down with a huge combo! Chambers steps away and waves a wobbly Ashley back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Ashley is rocked!

It looks like Charlie Ashley has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chambers lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Ashley head around and knocks him out cold! Chambers hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
