The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Doofenshmirtz. That's going to slow Yamaji down.
Yamaji throws a low kick but Doofenshmirtz moves out of range easily.

Doofenshmirtz shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Yamaji is trying to defend but Doofenshmirtz finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Doofenshmirtz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Masamichi Yamaji hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Yamaji throws the kick towards the body but Doofenshmirtz avoids it.

Doofenshmirtz dives in and grabs Yamaji's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yamaji pushes down on Doofenshmirtz's head and hops out.

It looks like Heinz Doofenshmirtz has been cut.
Yamaji pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Doofenshmirtz takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Doofenshmirtz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Yamaji defends well and Doofenshmirtz ends up having to push Yamaji into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

That was a close second round but I would say that Heinz Doofenshmirtz will probably get the nod.

Yamaji throws a powerful right kick. Doofenshmirtz tried to block low but the kick was high! Doofenshmirtz was taken right off of his feet! Yamaji jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
