Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Richie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Zubar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richie kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Am. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Ronald Zubar!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zubar jabs at Richie's body.
Zubar fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Richie takes a jab right on the kisser.
James Richie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Richie.
Zubar connects with a good right hand that stumbles Richie. Richie circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Richie looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Richie takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Richie has a takedown stuffed.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zubar fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Richie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Richie throws a sloppy head kick
letting Zubar counter with a right hand.
Richie tries to clinch but Zubar is having none of it.
Zubar works Richie's body with a nice hook.
Richie takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Richie misses with a series of wild punches.
Zubar lands with a hook. Richie tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Richie is rocked!
Zubar is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Richie had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Zubar cracks a nice hook into Richie's ribs.
Zubar is looking to slow Richie down with leg kicks.
Zubar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Zubar bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Richie's head.
Richie pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Zubar.
Richie shoots in for a takedown but Zubar shows good takedown defense.
Richie is breathing heavily.
Richie looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Richie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Zubar defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Richie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Zubar, as that shot connected.
Oh Richie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Richie is looking to clinch.
Richie seems to have got his legs back now.
Zubar feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Richie sprawling to the canvas! Richie rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Zubar finish him?!
Zubar throws an overhand right that drops Richie like a sack of potatoes! Zubar dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ronald Zubar!
