Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerron Nimoh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Rambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerron Nimoh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Rambo!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rambo swinging wildly here.
The fighters circling - Nimoh throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Nimoh instigates a clinch.
Nimoh tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rambo's elbow.
Rambo dodges an elbow strike from Nimoh.

Nimoh decides to pull guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Nimoh is trying to keep Rambo in close.

Nimoh is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rambo is aware though and is defending well.

Rambo lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Rambo controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Nimoh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rambo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rambo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Rambo trying to control the position from guard on top but Nimoh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rambo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Nimoh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Rambo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

OK we're going to have a standup here. John Rambo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Rambo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nimoh looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rambo takes a swing at Nimoh's ribcage but misses.

A looping hook to the body misses from Nimoh. Rambo does a little dance to reset his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rambo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nimoh manages to avoid it.

Nimoh throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nimoh ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nimoh throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rambo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rambo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nimoh has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nimoh and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Nimoh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rambo was well out of range. Poor timing from Nimoh.
Rambo tries to clinch there but Nimoh circles away.
A head kick misses from Rambo.
Nimoh throws a jab but it's blocked by Rambo.
Rambo checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Nimoh lands with a right hand.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Rambo.
Rambo misses with a body shot.
John Rambo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nimoh swings away with a body shot that misses
and Nimoh takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rambo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rambo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Rambo misses with a head kick.
Rambo pivots, looking for a leg kick but Nimoh is out of range and Rambo settles back down.
Nimoh misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rambo.
Rambo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nimoh lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nimoh misses with a wild body shot.
Rambo checks a leg kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nimoh is looking to chop away at Rambo's legs.

John Rambo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nimoh looks to score with a jab to the body but Rambo is just out of range.
Nimoh cracks Rambo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Nimoh throws a hook but Rambo avoids it easily.
Rambo is still on wobbly legs! Can Nimoh finish him?
Nimoh misses the jab.
Rambo seems to have recovered his senses.
Nimoh slips under a jab.
and Nimoh counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Rambo! He's just covering up as Nimoh starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
