Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Jesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and milan lucic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jesus kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Lotus Island - Buckethead. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

lucic rushes Jesus and presses him up against the ropes.

Jesus takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jesus moves out of range of the leg kick from lucic.

lucic throws a leg kick which misses Jesus's front leg but catches the back leg as Jesus tries to avoid it.

It looks like Oscar Jesus has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Jesus could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Despite being in the dominant position, milan lucic just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
lucic shoots for a double leg takedown but Jesus sprawls well. He's pushed lucic's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
lucic cracks Jesus with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Jesus tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but lucic pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Jesus is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
