Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between El Scotcho Colbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, El Scotcho Colbs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sam Sanderson!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Colbs takes the fight into the clinch.

Sanderson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Colbs is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Sanderson can't fight it off and eventually Colbs manages to take the fight to the floor. Sanderson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Colbs is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Werewolf's cave that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Colbs enables Sanderson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Colbs manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Colbs shoots in looking for a takedown. Sanderson tries to sprawl out of it but Colbs keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sanderson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Colbs cracks Sanderson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
