Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Casey Dunlap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petrov Vladiminov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Casey Dunlap!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Petrov Vladiminov!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dunlap tries to keep at a distance but Vladiminov has taken the fight into the clinch.

Dunlap breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Vladiminov feints and as Dunlap raises his hands in defense, Vladiminov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Vladiminov wants to pass the guard but Dunlap is keeping the position.
Vladiminov would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Dunlap wants to stand but Vladiminov is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dunlap looking for a guillotine here but Vladiminov defends easily.
Dunlap looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vladiminov is one step ahead there.

Vladiminov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Dunlap has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Vladiminov's lack of action.
Vladiminov is looking to stall here but Dunlap recovers full guard.

Dunlap looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Vladiminov gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Vladiminov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dunlap tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Vladiminov is in Dunlap's guard.
Vladiminov wants to control from the top but Dunlap keeps moving.
Dunlap is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Vladiminov tries to free his leg and advance position but Dunlap is retaining full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Petrov Vladiminov hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Vladiminov shoots in and bounces Dunlap off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Dunlap wants to stand but Vladiminov is controlling the position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dunlap preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Vladiminov gets to his feet. Dunlap looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Vladiminov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Vladiminov wants to pass the guard but Dunlap is defending well.
Dunlap is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vladiminov seems to be working for a kimura but Dunlap defends the submission attempt.
Vladiminov is trying to control. Dunlap wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Vladiminov. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Vladiminov might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dunlap haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Dunlap tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Vladiminov manages to move to mount!
Dunlap is squirming around, avoiding Vladiminov's attempts to control the action.
Dunlap tries to hold on but Vladiminov pushes him away.
Vladiminov thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Dunlap wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Vladiminov.

Dunlap is trying desperately to improve position.

Vladiminov moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Dunlap has worked his arm free - good work by Dunlap!

Vladiminov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dunlap keeps working.

Vladiminov stands up and beckons Dunlap to his feet.

Vladiminov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dunlap to the mat! Dunlap manages to get full guard.

Dunlap looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vladiminov is one step ahead there.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dunlap holds on and takes a little breather.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dunlap is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Vladiminov is aware though and is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Petrov Vladiminov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Vladiminov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dunlap moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Dunlap is fighting to break Vladiminov's control of his arms but Vladiminov is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Vladiminov is looking to stand up but Dunlap isn't so interested in that idea.
Dunlap seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Dunlap seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Vladiminov for as long as he can get away with.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Casey Dunlap just wasn't active enough.

Dunlap slips a nice elbow through Vladiminov's hands, connecting with Vladiminov's forehead.
Casey Dunlap has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Petrov Vladiminov is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Casey Dunlap.
Well Vladiminov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
