Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colin Sheppard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramone Ramierz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramierz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ramierz shoots in for a double leg but Sheppard sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Ramierz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Sheppard drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sheppard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ramierz is trying to control Sheppard's posture but Sheppard avoids it.

Ramierz should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Sheppard is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ramierz defends it well.

That was a close second round but I would say that Colin Sheppard will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Colin Sheppard.
