PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ichabod Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burley Haines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crane's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Way of The Ninja. On his way into the cage it seems that Ichabod Crane has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ichabod Crane seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Burley Haines!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crane lands a left and a right that send Haines crashing to the mat, dazed. Crane thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Haines throws a jab but it's blocked by Crane.
Haines throws a shot from downtown. Crane moves away and avoids it.
Crane stuns Haines with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Haines thows a left - swing and a miss!
Some bone on bone action there as Haines checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Nice defenses there by Haines.
Haines keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Crane sends Haines crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Crane is motioning to the referee to let Haines up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Haines is rocked!
Crane is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Haines flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Haines is out cold! Crane holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ichabod Crane!
