Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Pablo Blanco!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Pablo Blanco has been cut.
Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blanco circles away quickly and effectively.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Blanco has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A slapping leg kick lands for Blanco.

Blanco has Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
Blanco tries to work over Silva's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Blanco throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Blanco walks into a jab.

Silva lands a really nice looking cross but Blanco seems unphased.

Silva avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Silva scores with a head kick. Blanco tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Blanco swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Silva lands a head kick that stumbles Blanco and the fighters go to the mat.

Silva decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Blanco, up you get!

Blanco throws a poor cross that misses
and Silva counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Blanco to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Silva!
