The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shackleton dodges the punch combination from Wolf.
We've been told by Wolf's head coaches at Soco na mãe - Stand Up Striking that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shackleton is defended easily by Wolf.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Shackleton working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Shackleton got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wolf has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Shackleton has managed to get both his arms back between Wolf's legs - danger averted.
