Li comes to the cage accompanied by Tourniquet by Evanescence. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Li.
Gruber misses with a body shot.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Li.
Li misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Li fails with an attempt to clinch.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Li.
Li lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Li gets in close and tags Gruber with a short punch that almost sends Gruber to the mat! Oh Gruber is in big trouble! He turns his back on Li, trying to create some distance but Li rushes him, striking wildly and Gruber goes down! The referee tackles Li into the cage to end the fight! Li is one violent man!

After winning the bout, Jet Li thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
