Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pip Pop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boba Solid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boba Solid will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pip Pop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Boba Solid!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solid scores with a kick to the midsection.
Pop definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Solid misses with a body shot.
Solid throws a nice outside leg kick.
Solid throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Solid tried to score with a low kick but Pop checks it.
Solid throws a front kick aimed at Pop's knee but Pop avoids it well.

Pop shoots in and gets a takedown into Solid's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Pop postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Pop stays in close to Solid's body and controls the position.
Pop content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Solid keeping full guard, as Pop tries to pass.

Pop is looking to work some ground and pound but Solid has wrist control.

Solid can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pop controls the pace.
Pop trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Solid pushes Pop off and scrambles back to his feet.
We've been informed that Solid has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Pop throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Solid was covering up waiting for the punch and Pop finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Solid pulls Pop in to control the position.
Pop trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Pop working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Pop stands and throws Solid's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Pop working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Solid is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Pop asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Pop has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pop controls the position.
Solid is trying to control Pop's posture but Pop avoids it.
Pop cracks Solid with a big right hand but Solid just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Solid is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Pop is controlling him well.

Solid seems a little lost for a moment, as Pop dominates the positioning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Solid tries to escape but Pop is in control.

Pop cracks Solid with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Pop immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Solid is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Pop!
