Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Cleese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Gruber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hans Gruber told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cleese moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Cleese scores with a push kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gruber looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gruber fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Cleese is out of range.
Cleese slips a jab from Gruber.
Cleese lands a jab-cross combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gruber misses the jab.
Cleese looks to land a combination but Gruber avoids it well.
Cleese looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gruber misses with a low kick.
Cleese dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gruber scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Gruber moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gruber swings for the body but Cleese moves out of range.
Gruber throws a big shot that misses.
Gruber stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cleese.
Cleese slips a jab from Gruber.
Cleese fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Cleese misses with a wild combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cleese connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gruber momentarily.
Cleese scores with a hook to the body. Gruber takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Cleese lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Cleese lands a big head kick that sends Gruber tumbling to the mat! Cleese takes a step backwards and waves Gruber back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Hans Gruber has been cut.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cleese.
Cleese swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gruber doesn't manage to clinch there - Cleese circles away.
Cleese moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Cleese ducks under a wild hook from Gruber.
Gruber throws a jab when Cleese was well out of range.
Cleese scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Gruber on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
