The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mattos swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mattos walks into a jab.
Some wild striking there from Rugowski.
Rugowski tries to clinch but Mattos is having none of it.
Mattos walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Rugowski throws a sloppy head kick and Mattos moves out of range easily.
Mattos scores with a one two! Rugowski had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Bubba Rugowski has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A looping hook to the body misses from Mattos . Rugowski does a little dance to reset his feet.

Mattos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rugowski swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mattos is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rugowski.

Mattos throws a body punch but Rugowski moves out of range.

Mattos steps in with a hook that catches Rugowski right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Mattos follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Rugowski looks absolutely devastated.
