Landeverde has chosen Napalm & Erruption- In San Francisco as his entrance music. Ric Landeverde is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landeverde displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Roach misses with an uppercut. Landeverde saw that one coming.
Landeverde throws a hook but Roach blocks it.
Landeverde is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Landeverde looks to score with a jab to the body but Roach is just out of range.

Landeverde gets caught napping as Roach dives in and scores a takedown. Landeverde manages to retain guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Roach not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Landeverde has Roach pulled in close to control his posture.

Roach trying to control the position from guard on top but Landeverde is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Roach stops Landeverde from standing up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Roach darts in looking for a takedown but Landeverde gets double underhooks and turns Roach into the cage.

Roach manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Roach is trying to keep Landeverde in close.

Roach looking to hit a scissor sweep but Landeverde is one step ahead there.
Roach is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Landeverde wants to stand but Roach has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Landeverde accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Landeverde is trying to work for a kimura but Roach is defending well.
Roach is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Landeverde's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Landeverde's back!

Roach is persistently looking for the submission but Landeverde is defending it well.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Landeverde has hold of Roach's leg, trying to break free but it's let Roach lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Landeverde is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Roach throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
