The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Yakuza's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Menez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Menez postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Yakuza covers up, he's hurt! Menez keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Menez and the ref steps in to end the fight! Menez can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Orlando Menez!
Orlando Menez very nearly forgot to thank Elite Canadian Threads amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
Ichi Yakuza was interviewed post fight and said 'This has not been honorable. Seppuku!'.
