Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ratree Sidhindhorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Owen Xenon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ratree Sidhindhorn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sidhindhorn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Sidhindhorn looking to throw knees to the head but Xenon is blocking nicely.

Xenon has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sidhindhorn uses from the top position.

Sidhindhorn decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Xenon, up you get!

Xenon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Xenon is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Xenon is nestled in close to Sidhindhorn, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Xenon decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Xenon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Sidhindhorn is trying to drag Xenon to the mat but Xenon just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Xenon throws a punch but it's blocked by Sidhindhorn.

Xenon wants to sweep here but Sidhindhorn controlling him for the moment.
Sidhindhorn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Xenon swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Xenon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sidhindhorn defends well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Sidhindhorn's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Sidhindhorn lands a right hand that snaps the head of Xenon backwards.
Sidhindhorn pushes Xenon back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Sidhindhorn is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Xenon is defending well.
Xenon is pressed up against the cage. Sidhindhorn has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Xenon down to the mat. Xenon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Sidhindhorn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Xenon misses with a hook. Sidhindhorn ducked under it nicely.
Xenon goes for a double leg but Sidhindhorn avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sidhindhorn continues to drive forward.

Xenon tests Sidhindhorn's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Xenon missing with a left hand there. Sidhindhorn was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Xenon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
An inside leg kick lands from Sidhindhorn.
No joy there for Sidhindhorn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Xenon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sidhindhorn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Sidhindhorn lands a good knee to the midsection. Xenon won't want to take too many of those.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Xenon.

and Xenon counters with a series of strikes. Sidhindhorn will be more careful next time no doubt.

Xenon manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sidhindhorn on his heels. He'll look to pass Sidhindhorn's guard now, I'm sure.

Xenon loads up on a big right hand but Sidhindhorn slips the punch.

Sidhindhorn looks to land a body kick but Xenon moved away.
Sidhindhorn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Xenon manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Xenon can't keep his opponent in guard - Sidhindhorn advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Sidhindhorn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Xenon keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Xenon tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Xenon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sidhindhorn's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sidhindhorn's back!
I really don't envy Sidhindhorn right now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Xenon is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Sidhindhorn with him. Sidhindhorn is trying to defend but Xenon has an arm under the chin now! Sidhindhorn grimaces and is forced to tap out!
