Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcellus Vaughan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ze Paulino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Marcellus Vaughan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ze Paulino!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Ron Honeybunn and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Ze Paulino showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!



Paulino manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Vaughan on his heels. He'll look to pass Vaughan's guard now, I'm sure.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Vaughan gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Paulino to score an easy takedown into full guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Marcellus Vaughan wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Paulino closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Vaughan is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Paulino lets go of the hold and Vaughan can pop his arm back in it's socket.
