The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haz throws a push kick but Perina slaps the foot to one side.
A left and a right from Haz both land. Nice combination.
Haz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Haz lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
We've been hearing reports that Perina has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Haz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Haz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Perina moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Vinnie Haz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perina darts in and clinches Haz up against the cage.
