Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lon Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anthony Johnson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson gets a clinch.
Johnson is trying to break the clinch but Malone has him pressed against the cage.

Malone manages to pull guard.
Johnson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Malone is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Johnson is controlling him.

Malone looking for a guillotine here but Johnson defends easily.
Malone really is a fat lump.
Johnson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Johnson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Malone had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Johnson defends it easily.

Malone drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Malone can't find room to land a body shot as Johnson controls the action.
Malone jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Johnson walks away with a smile on his face. Malone gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Johnson throws a nice looking combination but Malone bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Malone counters with a nice body kick.
Johnson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Malone wants to slow Johnson down by chopping away at his legs.
Johnson looks for the body kick but Malone saw that one coming.

Malone closes the distance and pushes Johnson back into the cage.
Malone is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Johnson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Johnson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Malone has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Johnson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Johnson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Johnson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Malone manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Johnson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Johnson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

and Malone counters with a left and a right that stings Johnson.

Malone is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Johnson pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Johnson jumps guard and drags Malone to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Johnson is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Malone presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Anthony Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

The fight stays on the outside here - Johnson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Johnson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Johnson moves out of range as Malone throws a body kick.
Malone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Johnson as he jumps to the side.

Johnson lands a left and a right that send Malone crashing to the mat, dazed. Johnson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Malone is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson tries a head kick but it misses.
Oh Malone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Johnson goes for a small jab and connects. Now Johnson goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Malone stumbles back but Johnson runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Malone to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Malone will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
