Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vinny Zombo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gracie Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gracie Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zombo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Hunter fails with a takedown attempt.
No joy there for Zombo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hunter blocks a head kick by Zombo.
Hunter on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Hunter shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zombo as he jumps to the side.
Zombo is looking to chop away at Hunter's legs.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Zombo.
Hunter tries for a takedown but Zombo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Vinny Zombo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gracie Hunter.
Zombo jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Hunter shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zombo as he jumps to the side.
Zombo throws a push kick but Hunter slaps the foot to one side.
Hunter shoots in looking for a takedown. Zombo tries to sprawl out of it but Hunter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Zombo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Zombo enables Hunter to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Zombo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zombo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Zombo is trying to control the position but Hunter postures up.
Zombo wants to stand up but Hunter is controlling him.

Zombo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hunter has picked Zombo up and slammed him! Zombo can't keep hold of the triangle and Hunter manages to pass to side control!

Zombo tries to improve position but can't.
Zombo sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Zombo is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at LOD: Gym of the Gods, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Hunter stops Zombo from getting back to his feet.
Zombo has a hand on Hunter's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Hunter takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hunter wants to finish this one by submission but Zombo is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hunter.
Zombo is squirming around, avoiding Hunter's attempts to control the action.

Zombo tries to lock up and control but Hunter gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Zombo wants to try and get back to his feet.
Hunter controlling the pace for now.
Zombo is working to get back to half guard.
Hunter can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Zombo is looking to escape.

Hunter is working for a guillotine from mount but Zombo frees his head quite easily.

Zombo is looking to get to half guard.
Zombo is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Hunter sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Zombo is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zombo holds on to Hunter as tight as he can, avoiding damage.
Zombo keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Zombo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hunter dodges the punch combination from Zombo.
Hunter dives in for a single leg takedown but Zombo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Zombo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hunter fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zombo avoids it really well and circles away.
Zombo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hunter.
Vinny Zombo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gracie Hunter.

Zombo misses with a head kick.
Hunter closes the distance and clinches up with Zombo, looking for a takedown. Hunter pushes Zombo against the cage but Zombo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Zombo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A punch lands to the side of Hunter 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Zombo slaps away a takedown attempt from Hunter, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Zombo rushes Hunter and presses him up against the cage.

Zombo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Hunter drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Gracie Hunter has got the better of the ground game so far.
Hunter stops Zombo from standing up.
Hunter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Zombo wants to get back to his feet but Hunter is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Hunter stands and throws Zombo's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Hunter thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Zombo tries to escape but Hunter is in control.

Hunter trying to control the position but Zombo is working away.

Hunter goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Zombo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hunter but great work by Zombo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hunter tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Zombo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The referee asks Zombo politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Zombo prefers to stall for the moment though.

Hunter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Zombo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Zombo! Hunter is out on his feet! Zombo rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Hunter is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Hunter is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
