Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zvone Koban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koban comes to the cage accompanied by TIM DOG - step to me. The crowd seem to be enjoying West's choice of entrance music: Scooter - Maria . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zvone Koban!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George West!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Koban.
Koban seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Koban looks to throw the jab but West is out of range.
West chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Koban can pounce on him.
West swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Koban.
West thows a body shot but no joy.
West bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Koban looks to throw the jab but West is out of range.
Koban throws a push kick but West slaps the foot to one side.
West uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Koban has time to react.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
West displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Koban.
West ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
West throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Koban throws a quick inside leg kick.
West thows a body shot but no joy.
A slow jab from West misses its intended target.
West lands a glancing blow to the side of Koban's head.
Koban gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! West gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George West!
George West decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
