Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Naruto Sakuraba and Antonio Camatta. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 2 losses; Antonio Camatta!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Sakuraba got a little sloppy there for a moment and Camatta has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sakuraba has managed to get both his arms back between Camatta's legs - danger averted.

Sakuraba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Camatta swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sakuraba's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Sakuraba drops back, looking for a kneebar! Camatta looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Camatta looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Camatta!

Camatta working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Camatta looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Sakuraba sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Camatta is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sakuraba is just riding it out for now. Camatta eventually gives up the hold.
Sakuraba wants to control but Camatta is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Camatta maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Sakuraba could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Camatta has cracked it and Sakuraba is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Camatta!
