TWGC 3 (155lbs, D1): Hilo Qualifier - Round 2 PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ted Scheckler and Henry Morgan. Chooooooooon! I think Scheckler might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Immortal Technique -- Point of No Return. The crowd seem to be enjoying Morgan's choice of entrance music: No Easy Way Out. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Ted Scheckler! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Henry Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Josh West.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Morgan tries to close the distance and clinch but Scheckler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Morgan isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Scheckler stacks Morgan on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Scheckler!
