Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Olin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aoki Yoshidas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aoki Yoshidas will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Olin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Aoki Yoshidas!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshidas connects with the punch.
Yoshidas fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Olin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Olin defending well as Yoshidas loads up on a big left hand.
Yoshidas lands with a good body shot.
Olin dives in and grabs Yoshidas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yoshidas pushes down on Olin's head and hops out.
Yoshidas swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Yoshidas displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Olin.
Olin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Yoshidas misses with a body shot.
Olin dives in and grabs Yoshidas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yoshidas pushes down on Olin's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Olin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice shot lands for Yoshidas.

Olin tries to sprawl but Yoshidas drives through with a takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Yoshidas wants to control but Olin is keeping him busy.
Yoshidas looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Olin tries to roll over but Yoshidas keeps him under control.

Yoshidas is trying to control. Olin wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Olin makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Olin.

Yoshidas tries to free his leg and advance position but Olin is retaining full guard.
Olin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Yoshidas trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Olin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Yoshidas's guard.
Olin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Yoshidas's head.
Olin throwing strikes from guard but Yoshidas blocks nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Olin content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Olin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Yoshidas trying to control the position.
Yoshidas working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Olin.
Olin is looking to work some ground and pound but Yoshidas has wrist control.
Olin with a flurry of punches that miss.
Yoshidas utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Yoshidas is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Olin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Olin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Our spies down at at ATT inform us that Yoshidas has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Olin is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Yoshidas utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Olin throws a strike but Yoshidas rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Olin holds on and takes a little breather.
Yoshidas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Olin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Yoshidas forces his way into half guard.
Olin is looking to improve his position.
Olin preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Yoshidas looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Yoshidas wants to control but Olin is keeping him busy.
Olin tries to roll over but Yoshidas keeps him under control.
Olin is refusing to be controlled, as Yoshidas sits in half guard.

Yoshidas is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Olin to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Yoshidas wants to pass the guard but Olin is keeping the position.

Yoshidas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Olin will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Yoshidas dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Olin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Yoshidas to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Yoshidas trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Olin manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Yoshidas not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Olin postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Olin lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Olin advances to half guard.
Yoshidas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Olin is looking to advance position but Yoshidas won't allow it.

Yoshidas is looking for a sweep. Olin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Nice strikes from Olin there.


Yoshidas is rocked!
Olin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Yoshidas is still in real trouble! Can Olin finish him?

Olin lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Yoshidas! More strikes land and this one is all over! Olin jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Olin!
An out of breath Jack Olin thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
