Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Rohan Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Brian Jenen!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Khan did well to prevent Jenen getting side control.
Jenen content to control rather than advance.

Jenen is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Jenen controlling the action here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Khan is staying active underneath Jenen, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Jenen is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Brian Jenen.

Jenen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Khan's guard.
Jenen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Khan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jenen throws a big elbow that misses.

Jenen showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Khan is looking to stand up but Jenen isn't so interested in that idea.
Jenen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Brian Jenen hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Khan misses with a low kick.

Jenen dives in and scores a takedown into Khan's guard.
Jenen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Jenen misses with the ground and pound.
Jenen controls the position.

Jenen tries to move into full mount but can't pass Khan's legs.
Khan is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Jenen asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jenen advances to mount.
Khan is squirming around, avoiding Jenen's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brian Jenen dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Khan connects with a high kick.
Khan wants to clinch.

Jenen scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Jenen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Jenen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jenen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Jenen trying to control the action but Khan is working from the bottom.
Khan is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Jenen asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The referee asks Jenen politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Jenen prefers to stall for the moment though.
Jenen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Khan keeps working.

Jenen tries for a kimura but Khan is defending well.
Jenen trying to control the position but Khan is working away.
Jenen throws an elbow but Khan slips to the side and avoids it well.
Jenen in side control, throwing shots but Khan defends.
Khan wants to get back to his feet but Jenen drags him back down.
Jenen happy to just control the position for now.

Khan wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Jenen postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jenen is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Jenen is looking to take a break and control but Khan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jenen moves into full mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jenen moves to back control.

Jenen has managed to slip his arm under Khan's chin. This could be all over... yep, Khan is tapping out! Submission win for Jenen.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Brian Jenen!
A relieved looking Brian Jenen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
