Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lonnie Camacho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenric Nyyrikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenric Nyyrikki will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Nyyrikki with that takedown attempt.
Camacho motions for Nyyrikki to come forward. Camacho throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Nyyrikki moves to clinch but Camacho breaks away

and Camacho counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nyyrikki won't be happy with that.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
A lull in the action here.
Camacho could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Camacho decides to stand back up. Camacho steps back and let's Nyyrikki get back to his feet.
Camacho throws a head kick but Nyyrikki moves out of range.
Camacho is looking to score with low kicks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nyyrikki lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Lonnie Camacho has been cut.
Camacho has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nyyrikki finds it's way round the side to connect with Camacho's head.
Camacho pivots, looking for a leg kick but Nyyrikki is out of range and Camacho settles back down.

Camacho has closed the distance and engaged Nyyrikki in a clinch.
Nyyrikki gets underhooks to prevent Camacho's takedown attempt.

Nyyrikki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A low kick from Camacho is predictable there
and Nyyrikki counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Camacho avoids the head kick by Nyyrikki.

Camacho drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
You can see the frustration on Nyyrikki's face as Camacho controls the position.
Camacho seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nyyrikki for as long as he can get away with.
