Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nigel York (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Ladin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). York kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is British Grenadiers Song. The crowd seem to be enjoying Ladin's choice of entrance music: Highway to hell. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ladin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ladin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ladin goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Ladin lands with a shot to the body.
York tries to clinch up.
York swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ladin.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
York throws the kick towards the body but Ladin avoids it.
Ladin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
York connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Ladin throws a head kick that misses.
A slapping body kick lands there for York.
York throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ladin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

York throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
York misses with a head kick.
York takes a swing at Ladin's ribcage but misses.
York throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
York rushes Ladin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Ladin misses with a short punch on the inside.
York managing to block the knees to the body from Ladin.
York lands a body punch in the clinch.
York cracks Ladin with a nice body shot.
York is stalling here.

York throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Ladins head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
York lands a big right hand that drops Ladin! The killer instinct kicks in and York finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by York!
